Confidant

There are two types of confidants:

  • Confidant Undesirable Behaviour
  • Confidant Integrity

Restment’s confidants are educated, certified and registered in both areas.

In order to function as a good confidant, proper education only is not enough. Experience, knowledge of people, humour, confidentiality, the ability to listen, going in depth and relativizing are characteristics which are just as important.

Confidant Undesirable Behaviour
Examples of undesirable behaviour are:

  • Aggression and violence
  • Sexual harassment
  • Bullying
  • Discrimination

The victim’s interest is the central objective. We can help you looking after, guiding and informing employees, providing information within your organization and advising the board and management in this matter.

Confidant integrity
Examples of violation of integrity or integrity issues are:

  • Theft
  • Misappropriation
  • Conflict of interests
  • Misuse of authority

The organization’s interest is the central objective. Our confidants can deal with all interests and corresponding legal obligations. We guide you with receiving, informing and advising of the potential reporter, board and management.

Incidents and reports usually don’t come planned or during office hours. Therefore we are available 24/7, all year round.

Listening

“A good confidant listens and guides, but never takes the wheel.”
